Dr. Dan Roberts is a board-certified psychiatrist in private practice in Manhattan and a faculty member at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. At NYU, he provides trauma-informed psychiatric care for patients at the NYU World Trade Center Health Program, and he is also a clinician-researcher at the NYU Center for Psychedelic Medicine, where he serves as study physician and lead therapist on a number of clinical trials exploring psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy for a variety of therapeutic applications. He is highly active in the training and supervision of therapists on multiple trials of psychedelic-assisted therapy. Additionally, he is certified in MDMA-assisted psychotherapy through MAPS, and he completed advanced training for certification in ketamine-assisted psychotherapy through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute. Dr. Roberts has been practicing psychotherapy for many years, having provided individual and group therapy as a clinical social worker before beginning his medical training.
