Selah (she/her) is a licensed EMT-B in both Oregon and California. Before working with Fluence, she was with the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR, where she helped pioneer the COVID-19 Mobile Van Team. There, she worked with communities across the Portland Metropolitan area and Oregon as a whole, specifically focusing on marginalized groups like POC, LGTBQ folks, homeless people, and groups struggling with addiction or with experience in the criminal justice system. Selah also spent several years working for a medical device innovation company, where she managed multiple projects, planned/coordinated events, and reviewed confidential contracts and documents. She is an advocate for accessible and equitable healthcare and holds as much value on mental health as physical health.
