New certificate program will prepare clinicians to support patients receiving COMP360 psilocybin treatment, if approved by the FDA.
NEW YORK, September 10, 2026: Fluence, a leading provider of professional education in psychedelic therapy, today announced that it has been selected by Compass Pathways plc (Nasdaq: CMPS) as a recipient of its U.S. healthcare provider training grant program. Through the collaboration, Fluence is developing a new certificate program designed to prepare healthcare providers to deliver high-quality care for patients receiving COMP360 psilocybin treatment, if approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
COMP360 is an investigational synthetic psilocybin treatment currently being evaluated for treatment-resistant depression. In anticipation of potential FDA approval and subsequent commercial availability, the Post-Approval COMP360 Psilocybin Certificate Program will prepare clinicians with the knowledge and skills required to support patients throughout the COMP360 treatment experience. The program will combine Fluence’s experience training thousands of clinicians in psychedelic therapy with Compass Pathways’ clinical guidance for COMP360.
The certificate program will progress through three modules: Foundations of Psychedelic Care, Understanding Psilocybin, and COMP360 Certification. Clinicians will build foundational skills for supporting patients through psychedelic treatment, develop an understanding of psilocybin and the research behind its therapeutic use, and receive COMP360-specific training covering the compound, applicable regulations, patient preparation, treatment administration, and follow-up.
