Overview
This professional certificate prepares clinicians to safely and effectively support clients embarking on psychedelic journeys in both clinical and non-clinical settings. Clinicians learn to assess readiness and motivation, and to understand both classic psychedelics, such as psilocybin and LSD, and non-classic psychedelics, such as ketamine and MDMA. They also learn to see clients through preparation, set, setting, and dosing considerations, then provide integration support that helps them process and make sense of their experiences before and after they occur. The certificate closes by helping clinicians carry this work forward: supporting long-term integration and translating PHRI into a legal, ethical practice. Whether someone is working with clients who use psychedelics independently, alongside a ketamine clinic, or through a ceremonial practice, PHRI provides a structured, evidence-based framework for the full arc of the client's experience.
Who It's For
PHRI is built for licensed therapists, psychologists, counselors, social workers, and other clinicians who want to competently and confidently support clients using psychedelics, whether in a psychotherapy setting, alongside a ketamine clinic, or in the context of clients' independent, non-clinical use. It's especially valuable for those who:
Are already fielding client questions or disclosures about psychedelic use and want a structured, evidence-based framework for assessment, preparation, and integration
Want to formally add Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration to their scope of practice
Support clients using a range of psychedelics, from classic compounds like psilocybin and LSD to non-classic compounds like ketamine and MDMA
Are looking to build a legal, ethical, and sustainable psychedelic-informed practice
On a case-by-case basis, we also accept a limited number of professional coaches, credentialed counselors, and peer support providers into each course session. If you're a coach, counselor, or peer-support provider interested in participating, please reach out to info@fluencetraining.com.

What students have to say about our programs...
I really appreciate Fluence. The trainings and coursework, the literature shared, the community, self-development and insightful explorations have strengthened me as a professional and given such a sense of competence in this evolving space.

Amy Johnson
LCSW
I've been more than thrilled about my experience with Fluence thus far. I am a ketamine-assisted psychotherapist and
continue to learn more information and modalities to incorporate into my practice, from both the instructors and
fellow students.

LAURA HUTCHINS,
LCMHC, LCAS, KAP Consulting
My entire experience with Fluence has been exceptional. The instructors are giants in the psychedelic field, many are active in clinical research and you will see their names in scientific publications.

Stephanie Barss,
FNP, PMHNP, Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy
Certificate Program Advisor
The trainers at Fluence are what continually confirm that I am in the right place. The reverence and honor with which they approach their work is so evident. I have felt a sense of safety
at Fluence that is not present in other organizations I have
trained with or researched, and it is the trainers who create that safety.

Andrea Bigenho,
LPC specialist in Psychedelic Integration
