At Fluence, Candace leads the development and implementation of quality and compliance gates across digital platforms. She oversees the establishment of quality management, enterprise SOPs, and validation processes, working closely with Fluence's talented engineering team to ensure platform changes, integrations, and migrations align with regulatory expectations and industry best practices.  

Prior to joining Fluence, Candace spent 14 years at a leading global CRO, where she developed deep expertise in clinical and data operations, quality assurance, systems validation, and change management within regulated clinical trial environments. Candace believes that supporting and contributing to the outcomes of clinical trials, especially within the psychedelics/mental health space, is a privilege that requires rigor, candor, and integrity first and foremost.

When Candace isn't waist-deep in compliance regulations, she likes to let loose with live music, camping excursions, and random art projects. She lives in Durham, NC with her 9-year-old daughter, Charlie, foster-fail dog, Joni, and enjoys baking sourdough bread to give away via her project, 'Gift of Bread'.
