Trainer
Jaclyn Udell is a Trainer at Fluence and a psychedelic-informed clinician who works where clinical care meets the developing psychedelic field. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and her Master of Social Work from Tulane University. During graduate school she did fieldwork with the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). For the past five years she has supported clients in private practice as they prepare for and integrate psychedelic experiences. She has also provided clinical consulting to organizations including Beckley Psytech, Clerkenwell Health, and MAPS. Working in both settings allows her to support people working with psychedelics today, while also shaping the future of the field. She has written about that future since 2021 in her Substack, Becoming a Psychedelic Therapist. Jaclyn approaches therapy as both a science and an art, and she is especially fascinated by language as a window into the mind. She sees speaking multiple languages as a kind of non-ordinary state of consciousness, and her work draws on metaphor, communication, and the body’s own signals as guides to insight and growth.
