Jess is a bilingual licensed clinical social worker based in Baltimore, MD. She is a staff therapist at Sunstone Therapies in Rockville, MD, a research center that specializes in psychedelic clinical trials for a variety of indications with a focus on psycho-oncology. Since 2022, she has worked as a facilitator on studies for trauma, depression, anxiety, cancer, adjustment disorder, and others, with a variety of compounds, including MDMA, LSD, psilocybin, 5-MeO-DMT, and methylone.  She is also a MAPS-certified MDMA therapist and consultant. Jess has been a trainer for various Fluence courses, clinical trial trainings, and the Colorado Natural Medicine Facilitator certification program. 

Previously, Jess had a private practice focused on serving LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and/or Spanish-speaking patients and offering ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP). She also has a background in child and family trauma therapy in urban community mental health center and community-based settings. She completed her Master’s in Social Work at the University of Pennsylvania. Jess’s other clinical training experience and interests include EMDR, TF-CBT, IFS, somatic, mindfulness, and attachment-based therapies. She aspires to anti-racist social work practice and is committed to psychedelic equity, reciprocity, and access.
