Overview
Why attend this webinar?
With psychedelic therapies moving closer to FDA approval, clinicians are asking the same question: how do I prepare?
In this webinar, Fluence and the Trauma Therapist Network team up to walk you through the post-approval training landscape. This includes key topics such as what training will look like, how to get credentialed, and the key decisions that will shape your practice going forward. We'll also dig into why a background in trauma therapy translates so naturally into psychedelic therapy work.
Our Co-Founder and CEO, Elizabeth Nielson, will be joined by Laura Reagan, LCSW-C, Host of Therapy Chat Podcast & Founder of Trauma Therapist Network, a membership community supporting trauma therapists and a resource hub for anyone learning about trauma and healing. Through her Therapy Chat podcast, she interviews guests to discuss holistic and alternative approaches used in psychotherapy, including conversations on psychedelic therapy.
This practical orientation session is designed for clinicians who are curious about:
What post-approval training programs are likely to require
How the credentialing process is expected to work
Key decisions to weigh as you plan your practice
Why trauma-informed clinical backgrounds are such a natural fit for this work
The next professional steps toward becoming a psychedelic therapist
The webinar will conclude with a live Q&A.
Laura Reagan, LCSW-C is an integrative and somatically oriented trauma therapist based in the greater Baltimore area. She is the owner of a trauma-focused group psychotherapy practice called The Baltimore Annapolis Center for Integrative Healing which serves teens and adults in Maryland. Laura is also the host of a top-rated podcast, Therapy Chat, and its sister show, Trauma Chat. She’s the founder of the Trauma Therapist Network, a website platform for learning about trauma and finding a trauma therapist. As a trauma survivor, Laura is passionate about supporting therapists and trauma survivors. Laura wants the world to know that trauma is real, healing is possible and help is available. What students have to say about our programs...
I really appreciate Fluence. The trainings and coursework, the literature shared, the community, self-development and insightful explorations have strengthened me as a professional and given such a sense of competence in this evolving space.

Amy Johnson
LCSW
I've been more than thrilled about my experience with Fluence thus far. I am a ketamine-assisted psychotherapist and
continue to learn more information and modalities to incorporate into my practice, from both the instructors and
fellow students.

LAURA HUTCHINS,
LCMHC, LCAS, KAP Consulting
My entire experience with Fluence has been exceptional. The instructors are giants in the psychedelic field, many are active in clinical research and you will see their names in scientific publications.

Stephanie Barss,
FNP, PMHNP, Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy
Certificate Program Advisor
The trainers at Fluence are what continually confirm that I am in the right place. The reverence and honor with which they approach their work is so evident. I have felt a sense of safety
at Fluence that is not present in other organizations I have
trained with or researched, and it is the trainers who create that safety.

Andrea Bigenho,
LPC specialist in Psychedelic Integration
