Description

Discover the transformative world of Internal Family Systems (IFS) with our two-hour introductory course. Developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz, IFS offers a groundbreaking framework for understanding the multifaceted nature of the human psyche. This interactive session provides foundational knowledge of IFS, equipping participants with practical tools for self-awareness, personal growth, and client support. Key learning objectives include understanding IFS principles, such as the Self’s compassionate core and internal roles like Manager, Firefighter, and Exile. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises to connect with their internal parts, learn dialogue techniques for internal harmony, and gain tools for self-leadership, emphasizing the 8 C’s: compassion, curiosity, courage, creativity, confidence, clarity, connectedness, and calmness. This course is ideal for mental health professionals, counselors, coaches, and anyone seeking to enhance their self-awareness and personal development, regardless of their prior knowledge level. This course is encouraged as an introduction before taking our IFS, Psychedelics, and Anti-Oppression workshop.
