Fluence and Wavepaths have teamed up to create an exclusive Workshop for the Fluence community with Wavepaths Founder & CEO Mendel Kalen. Mendel is one of the most well-published researchers on the intersection of psychedelics and music, and holds the world’s only PhD in this field. We are delighted to offer this learning opportunity which will also grant you early access to Wavepaths beta technology, the Music Guide, and community for therapists.
This workshop is designed for those working with music professionally and will explore the role and application of music in psychedelic therapy.
The combined use of music and psychedelics is ancient and universal, yet with the rise of psychedelic therapy, many questions are emerging around the function of music and how to apply it effectively within a range of therapeutic contexts.
The workshop will take a co-creative approach, combining research presentation, introspective music listening and group discussion.
Wavepaths evolved out of the first clinical trial into psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression at Imperial College London – and provides an approach to wellbeing that reconnects us with our innate capacities to heal through music, technology & psychedelic science.
